Boker Damascus Superior II Chef's Knife
The exceptional blade of our all new Damascus chef's knife, Superior, is crafted from a four-band Torsion Damascus and an individually forged Damascus cutting edge, forged solely for Boker. This four-sided Damascus band is twisted 15 times in itself, to establish a distinct pattern of the 300 layers of Torsion Damascus.. In our Boker knife manufactory in Solingen, Germany, the blanks are hand made into a complete knife using more than 150 working steps. This technique of Damascus fabrication originated in Europe and was used in the Middle Ages to create high performance sword blades for nobility. The handle is framed by two Damascus bolsters and a Damascus end cap, both manufactured of 300 layers of stainless steel Damascus. The handles are individually hand fitted to the blade, and provide a visual presentation worthy of a piece of art. For the handle, we use African Grenadill wood. The weight of this Grenadill wood provides an excellent balance to the knife. With its high content of oil, it is naturally moisture resistant. The Boker Damascus Superior II is the smaller version of our Torsion Damascus kitchen knife. Get the unique feeling of working with one of the most valuable kitchen tools in a more handy size, especially ideal for paring and peeling. Overall length: 10 3/4". Blade length: 6". Weight: 4.2 oz
The Premium Brand: The famous knives with the tree-brand are manufactured in the German blade-city since 1869. Since then, no knife left our production without this sign of quality. The history of Boker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: our passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives.
